Laparoscopic Hysterectomy Program

The laparoscopic hysterectomy course, which is included in the masterclass program, will be conducted as one-on-one training under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Fatih Şendağ.

The aim of the laparoscopic hysterectomy course is to gain practical information on the relevant anatomy, appropriate patient selection by understanding the important criteria in terms of anesthesia, gaining practical information about gas supply systems, cameras, optical systems, washing systems, surgical hand instruments, vessel sealing systems, and use of electrosurgery. It includes training on positioning the patient in the operating room for hysterectomy, organizing the surgical team and equipment, demonstrating step-by-step how to perform surgical procedures in the safest manner, predicting potential complications, and taking necessary precautions by noticing complications early during surgery.

Training Content

09:00 - 12:00 Didactic Training

Training on technical information about Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, application areas and operation videos.

12:00 - 13:00 Lunch

13:00 -17:00 Simulation Training

09:00 - 15:00 Operating Room Training

Observing the Laparoscopic Hysterectomy application in a real case and performing some steps together with the mentor.

15:00 - 16:00 Course Evaluation

Conditions for Participation:

• Being a Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist
• Having received basic Laparoscopy training.
• Participation is limited to 4 people.
