Laparoscopic Myomectomy Program

The laparoscopic myomectomy course within the Masterclass program will be conducted under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Fatih Şendağ, offering one-on-one training.

The laparoscopic myomectomy course aims to provide practical knowledge on understanding the related anatomy, important criteria from an anesthesia perspective, appropriate patient selection, gas supply systems, camera, optical systems, irrigation systems, surgical instruments, vessel sealing systems, and the use of electrosurgery. The course will include training on how to properly position the patient for myomectomy in the operating room, organize the surgical team and equipment, demonstrate step-by-step how to perform surgical procedures in the safest manner, anticipate potential complications, and how to take necessary precautions by identifying them early during surgery.

Participation Requirements:

• Must be a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Must have completed basic laparoscopy training.
• Participation is limited to 5 people.
