Laparoscopic Endometriosis Surgery Course

The laparoscopic endometriosis course within the Masterclass program will be conducted under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Fatih Şendağ, offering one-on-one training.

The laparoscopic endometriosis course aims to provide practical knowledge on understanding the anatomy related to laparoscopy and endometriosis, identifying endometriotic lesions, and selecting appropriate patients by understanding important criteria from an anesthesia perspective. The course covers the use of gas supply systems, cameras, optical systems, irrigation systems, surgical instruments, vessel sealing systems, and electrosurgery. It also includes training on how to properly position the patient for endometriosis surgery in the operating room, organize the surgical team and equipment, demonstrate step-by-step how to perform surgical procedures in the safest manner, anticipate potential complications, and take necessary precautions by identifying them early during surgery.

Participation Requirements:

• Must be a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Must have completed basic laparoscopy training.
• Participation is limited to 4 people.
