Our International Robotic Surgery Course Concluded Successfully

Our international robotic surgery course, held on July 5-7, 2024, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Fatih Şendağ, was successfully concluded with the participation of 5 trainees from Dubai.

Throughout the course, participants received comprehensive theoretical and practical training, ranging from an introduction to minimally invasive surgery in gynecology to an overview of the Da Vinci XI robotic system. Trainees had the opportunity to practice using robotic surgical instruments, suturing, and applying energy techniques in simulator and dry lab sessions. They also put their newfound skills into practice during live surgery sessions.

The course concluded on July 07, 2024, with closing remarks and a certificate ceremony. Participants expressed pride in completing the course, having gained valuable new skills and experiences.
