Endo Academy Successfully Conducted Its First Telementoring Application

 

 

Endo Academy has taken a groundbreaking step in the medical field by successfully conducting its first telementoring application. Led by Prof. Dr. Fatih Şendağ, this innovative service provides remote guidance and support to surgeons, enabling them to perform surgeries confidently, even in challenging cases.

Prof. Dr. Şendağ initiated this telementoring service to address common concerns among surgeons, such as "What if I intervene in the wrong place?" or "What if I damage the ureter?", which he frequently encounters during his years of teaching. Through this application, doctors who are hesitant about endoscopic surgery can proceed with greater confidence, aided by Prof. Dr. Şendağ's online support during procedures.

Endo Academy's telementoring service allows doctors to share their cases and schedule a suitable date with Prof. Dr. Şendağ before surgery. On the scheduled date, necessary equipment is sent to the doctors, and setup is completed before the surgical procedure. During surgery, Prof. Dr. Şendağ remotely monitors the surgical screen and provides real-time guidance to the doctors.
